Thanks to Ate' Viv who came to visit us here in the Lou a couple of weeks ago! I made a huge one of these trees to display at my craft booth recently. After showing it to cuz, she suggested trying to make a smaller one for personal use. I was so excited after our conversation that shortly afterwards I ran out to get supplies and whipped up 6 of them! They are created with thick copper wire and the leaves at the end are twisted and formed by hand. The little trees and topiaries are "planted" in ceramic pots with either Spanish moss or smooth river stones. Not an easy task, but I love the look of them. Check out my jeweltrees, fresh from the garden at Manoa Road!
