:: mission attempted -- so far, so good ::

As I mentioned earlier, I decided to learn how to solder. I picked up some 16 gauge sterling silver wire and formed them into rings using a rawhide mallet and a ring mandrel. I flush cut the ends, made sure they touched each other, and tried to solder it using a torch, flux, and silver-bearing solder. It didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. After trying 5 times to clean it and resolder, I think this piece of wire had it. Ah, but live and learn. And learn I did! Here are the next three I made! :)

I think I can go to sleep now.
