Fab Finds on Aloha Friday - 01.22.10

This gloomy, gray, cold, and foggy weather we've been having all week in St. Louis makes me long for things warm, soft, comfortable, and colorful. A steamy mug of rich brown hot chocolate with creamy white whipped cream. Cozying up on my bright white couch with a big, cushy lime green blanket. Wearing familiar comfy navy blue sweatpants and thick black thermal socks. So I started on my computer and searched for yarn -- fabulous fiber -- and LOCALLY MADE! Today's Fab Finds on Aloha Friday feature St. Louis artisans who dye and spin yarn and sell their wares on Etsy -- fabulous warm fiber that's just waiting to be made into something colorful and glorious! Here we go!

Battlestar Galactica Inspired Cylon yarn (oooh, that was a mouthful)
Fingering Weight, Superwash Merino & Tencel

Stick to Your Knittin's

"A Walk in the Park" Bulky weight, blue-faced leicester wool

"Life Aquatic" Handpainted Merino Wool Sock Yarn
