I was browsing through Martha Stewart's December 2009 issue and came across a blurb for a site that prints fabric with your own designs. "Huh? Really? I can design my own fabric and print it out by the yard?" This excites me. I researched it a little more and narrowed it down to a few sites that offer a variety of fabrics. The concept is simple. You can upload your own designs and the sites print them according to your needs. Easy peasy. I am impressed with spoonflower.com. Not only can you create your own, but they also sell unique fabric designs! If you draw, design, take photographs, etc., this is a totally new realm to explore. Their instructions are easy to follow and the site is pretty easy to navigate. They offer eco-friendly printing on fabrics as light as quilting weight cotton to heavy ones, such as canvas. What's better for those watching their wallets too, is there is no minimum order, so it's not restricted to wholesalers and people who buy in bulk. Awesome! Oooooh, the possibilities. I am soooo going to try it out! I'll keep you updated on my experience with the site.
