Fab Finds on Aloha Friday - 3.12.2010

Road Trip!

Most schools here in Mizzou are getting ready for Spring Break, my kids included.  And, you know what that means...vacation!  If you're planning a week-long road trip or enjoying the local scene during a "stay-cation" at home, these really cool finds can inspire you to prepare for some time-off.  Enjoy!

I look at this print and immediately think "Road Trip!"  I wish we had a van this cool.

2:   United States Map It Wallet/Cardholder by DumbKidArt
Get yourself organized for your trip! If you lose your way, you'll have an additional map on hand.

3:   Crocheted Classic Driving Gloves Wrist Warmers by CrochetHooka
A throw-back to old-style driving gloves -- kinda makes you want to drive in an open-top convertible with the wind blowing through your hair.

4:   Road Trip (Stop Number 2) Leather Bound Mini Journal by BDLeatherDesigns
Need a place to document your travels?  Why not this beautiful handcrafted journal?

5:   Kids Car Seat Organizer / Black and White Damask by SewnNatural
For us who have runtniks in the back seat -- a beautiful one-stop shop to corral all the things that entertain them!

6:   Crayon Wallet - Sweet Butterflies by Monkeycheeks
Melted crayons on a car seat is not cool.  It's happened to me in the Vegas summer.  Keep them together in this crayon wallet and store out of the sun!

7:   Auto Trash - Car Litter Bag (Yui Kokeshi) by AllysonHill
A stylish alternative to the plain plastic bag.  I love the Yui Kokeshi print too!

8:   SnugglensDSLR Padded Camera and Lens Carrier by GypsyRoseHandbags
Of course you need to bring a camera with you!  This terrific carrier doesn't look like a standard camera bag, which is why I like it alot!

Show some handmade love and check out these fabulous artisans on their Etsy sites!  Happy travels on this Aloha Friday!
